The photographs were taken for an exhibition titled Lviv, June 24 1937, City, Architecture, Modernism; its curator was Andrzej Szczerski. The opening of the exhibition took place on September 29th 2016 in the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław.

The exhibition was accompanied by the publishing of a book under the same title and edited by Bohdan Cherkes and Andrzej Szczerski.
